Marlborough District Court

represented a client charged in a criminal case with Operating Under the Influence-Second Offense and Leaving the Scene of Property Damage.  Because the client first OUI offense occurred more than ten years ago, he received a “Cahill” disposition from the court, whereby he given the opportunity to the first offender program pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 90, section 24D.  The client will have the ability to obtain a hardship license within three business days so long as he installs an Ignition Interlock Device.
